Tab.Pantoprazole with Tab.Gas-X and some dietary precautions.
Detailed Answer:
Hi,
Welcome to health care magic,
I have read your query and understand the concern.
Bloating of stomach is likely because of acute gastritis, the first possibility I will think in your case and the bowel movement immediately after meal is because irritable bowel.
At present, I would suggest you to try symptomatic over the counter medications with STRICT dietary precautions to get some relief from severe bloating.
1) Take over the counter antacids tablets like Tab.Pantoprazole 40mg with Tab.Gas-X twice daily to get relief from the symptom of gas trouble and if you have burning gas pain.
2) Take syrup Digene 2 TSF three times a day which will also be helpful.
3) Avoid hot, oily and spicy foods and prefer HOME food. Take soft diet only for initial few days.
4) Avoid eating full stomach one at a time rather, take small meals frequently.
5) Avoid complex carbohydrates like beans, potato and carbonated beverages and milk based products which are hard to digest.
6) Drink plenty of water and fruit juices if you are non-diabetic.
7) Digestive enzymes (Unienzyme once daily which is available over the counter) will also be helpful in the digestion of carbohydrates and minimize the gas production.
8) Avoid talking which eating, as doing so may also cause further gas formation.
9) Avoid unnecessarily NSAIDs (pain killers) if you take since they are also likely to cause gas trouble.
With above symptomatic treatment and dietary precautions,I would advise you to wait for some improvement for at least 2 or 3 days.
But in case if problem persists longer even after above precautions, then it would be advisable to see gastro-physician who may order various tests (like routine blood works, abdominal ultrasound and upper GI endoscopy etc) which may enable us to come to a particular diagnosis.
Hope this detailed explanation will be helpful.
