Brief Answer:
You might be going through common viral infection....

Detailed Answer:
Hi,

I have gone through your medical history carefully and understood your concerns. Please find my recommendations as following:

1. Diabetics are often associated with complications like neuropathy or being more susceptible to infection of any type.

2. Having severe chills all night long starting 4 days ago are indicating a possible viral infection. Keep well hydrated, take more rest as it will take only a few more days to subside. Vitamin C supplementation can help boost your immunity together with having fresh fruits or their natural juice (non-sugared).

3. Feeling light headed and weak are still related to viral infection you are going through. Get more rest.

4. Blood sugar levels are increased in cases of stress (as you are experiencing now) and due to medrol use (it is a cortisone med that can cause increased blood sugar levels in diabetics as you).

5. Your BP is within normal range although the health problems you are going through.

6. Depression or mood changes are common in diabetics; they are more apparent in cases of stress (as in your case).

Hope it helped! Let me know if you have further questions.
