What Causes Severe Depression And Food Aversions Post Withdrawal From Opioids?
Question: Hi, I'm hoping you can help me. 3 months ago I detox from Opiods, afterwards, I gradually reduced my Cipralex from 20mg to 0mg. Afterwards, I reduced my lyrecca from 400mg to 150mg -over the last 2 months.
I was diagnosed with Fibromyalgia and therefore i've remained on cymbalta, lyrecca, zopiclone, adderral, suboxone.
Over the last month, I dived deeper into a severe depression and I have also noticed aversions to foods like coffee which I used to love.
Can you tell me if the depression and food aversions are linked? Or whether the withdrawal symptoms of the meds are created food aversions/ depression? If not, what is causing the deepening of my depression and what is causing the food Aversions?
If you have any other advice relating to my condition of fibromyalgia.
Thanks.
M.
