Brief Answer:
As there is XXXXXXX bleeding ultrasonogram should be done initially.

Detailed Answer:
Hi,
Thanks for choosing HealthcareMagic for your query.
A common symptom when a gastrointestinal disease flares up is diarrhoea mixed with blood. The blood may come from ulcers that develop on the inner wall of the intestine. There are other rare causes of inflammation of the colon colitis or inflammation of the rectum proctitis that can cause rectal bleeding.
The most common causes of XXXXXXX rectal bleeding are anal fissure, hemorrhoids,
diverticulosis.
However to be on a serious node it can be due to grave conditions like colon cancer and polyps.

Best protocol is initially to rule out the cause of bleed and then to treat it.
As you are having XXXXXXX bleeding i would recommend you to go for few baseline tests of gastroenterology initially like ultra sound abdomen, Proctoscopic examination of rectum by proctoscope.

A in person visit to a general surgeon would be the best idea with reports of ultrasonogram.
XXXXXXX rectal bleeding should be taken seriously and a wait and watch policy should not be used.

Hope i answered your queries well.
I wish you great luck.
