What Causes Severe Dizziness?
Question: Just curious of something;
30 yr old male. Ive had these bouts of dizzy spells (not vertigo, but more like a cloudy feeling on the sides of my upper head), that last a day or two and sometimes weeks. It doesnt happen all that often though. Ive had chest pains as well, and the dizziness dorsnt often occur with the chrst paib, but my doctor ran an ekg and thinks that this is 99% not cardiac.
My question is that being that these lightheaded spells come and go, does this sound more like allergies than heart related?
Thank you

Brief Answer:
Doesn't look like a cardiac issue
Detailed Answer:
Hello
I understand your concern for your health and I would like to suggest you that kindly get an Echocardiography done for your heart to be 100% sure that it's not due to cardiac issue as your ecg was normal.
Allergies are less likely to cause dizzy spell so It's advisable that you should consult an ENT specialist and get your ears evaluated for any infection and abnormalities as ear problem is a potential source of dizziness.
Hope this information will be helpful.
Kind Regards
