What Causes Severe Headache After Physical Activity?
![default](/r/images/default.png)
Question: I did 30 push ups and at the end I got a sharp intense headache on my right forehead and temporal region which lasted for about 30 seconds. I had an MRI of my brain a few months ago without contrast and it was normal other than some frontal migrainous findings. It was to rule out possible stroke. An echo was normal and the carotids were clear also. My BP is normal. I have been diagnosed with stenosis of the neck a fews years ago. Is this normal?

Could be just a muscle spasm

The pain you are telling looks like muscle spasm. It could be spasm of neck muscles or forehead muscle.
Their looks nothing to worry at present, but if this pain persists, you should see your neurologist for further evaluation & treatment.
