Brief Answer:
Chronic pain, advice to follow up with Orthopedician

Detailed Answer:
Hello,
Thank you for the query at HealthcareMagic

Pain after knee replacement could be due to infection (if you had the surgery more recently), alignment problems, loosening of the artificial knee joint and knee cap problems (if you have had the artificial knee for few months - years now).

Physical examination of the knee joint and investigations like X-ray, blood test to rule out infection are warranted at this point. Please be advised to follow up with your orthopedic surgeon for further management.

Chronic pain following knee pain can usually be managed by pain medications(eg. Tylenol, Ibuprofen, Naproxen etc.) and physical therapy.
