Detailed Answer:
Hello!

Welcome and thank you for asking on HCM!

I carefully passed through your question and would explain that it is important performing a comprehensive differential diagnosis of different causes that may lead to leg pain and difficulty walking:

1- Peripheral arteriopathy. A Doppler ultrasound of the leg vessels is necessary to rule in/out this possibility.

2- Electrolyte imbalances (calcium, potassium). I would recommend performing blood electrolytes for this purpose. You should know that Atacan could lead to electrolytes imbalances.

3- High uric acid levels. I recommend performing plasma uric acid levels.

4- Inflammation or arthritis. To exclude this possibility, I would recommend performing joint X ray study and inflammation tests (complete blood count, PCR, sedimentation rate).

Before making any changes to his actual therapy, you should discuss with your doctor on the above issues.

Hope you will find this answer helpful!

Brief Answer:
I would explain as follows:

Detailed Answer:
Hello again!

Yes, you can give him coreg as soon as he wakes up.

It is important taking it once daily, in order to maintain his normal blood pressure and heart rate.

Usually when a dose is missed, it is important taking it as soon as you are aware of this dose missing.

Regarding the pain in his legs, it does not seem to be related to coreg intake. I recommend discussing with his doctor on the above mentioned tests.

Hope you will find this answer helpful!
