What Causes Severe Nausea, Lightheadedness, Chills, Abdominal Cramps, Diarrhea And Hand Numbness?

Question: 21 yo female is experiencing severe nausea, is light-headed, has chills, fingers and arms are tingling, abdominal cramps and diarrhea (cloudy, white drops). Help!

Symptoms started about 5 hours ago and have remained persistent. Now dry heaving

Dear Patient,

your symptoms fit most likely a viral or bacterial gastroenteritis, "stomach flu", which will usually heal itself within 2-3 days. You may get otc medicine for nausea such as vomex or similar. Take in enough fluid when possible. Take in only light Foods startin when feeling a Little bit better , most likely tomorrow.
