The headache is not light sensitive and No nausea, just pain in the back of my head and pain radiating down my left arm and my left hand is swollen. I'm taking 800 mg of ibuprofen and finding some relief with heat therapy to my neck, and then switching to an ice pack. I take lorazepam 1mg 3x a day for anxiety when needed. I'm also taking pantessa 1000 mg 2x daily for chrohns disease and over the counter Imodium 2 capsules daily.
Thank you XXXXXXX Cannata

Brief Answer:
Cervical spine X-ray/Trial of antineuralgic medicines.
Detailed Answer:
Hi Cannata,
Thanks for being in follow-up and providing further details.
Considering your clinical details, this pain appears to be related to either degenerative cervical spine changes or it may be a variant of Tension type headache.
I suggest you to get a cervical spine X-ray done.
In the meantime, for pain, you should start a trial of antineuralgic medicines like Amitriptyline or Duloxetine. These will probably improve the symptoms.
Further, swelling in hand must be examined by a physician. Is this swelling getting depressed when you press it with a finger.I mean-is it pitting or non-pitting swelling?
PLEASE TAKE MEDICINES UNDER A PHYSICIAN'S GUIDANCE ONLY.
If you have some further questions,I shall be glad to have you in follow-up.
