![default](/r/images/default.png)
Question: I have pain behind my left knee that is pretty severe. It started yesterday and continued through the night. Not so much when my leg is straight but if I bend it, even turning over in bed. On a scale of 0 -10 it is a pretty strong 8.
Brief Answer:
Possible thrombosis or Baker cyst
Detailed Answer:
Hi, Welcome to HCM.
It may be deep vein thrombosis or ruptured Baker cyst so you should see doctor and do ultrasound to rule these out. Till then, keep the leg elevated, take painkillers and apply cold compresses.
Wish you good health.
Regards
