What Causes Severe Pain In Fractured Leg Despite Using Walking Boot?

Question: I broke my fibula on 4/1/16. (Horse fell on me). It was a clean break. They put me in a walking boot and I was put on light duty at work.i had been walking in the boot without crutches for over a week. I'm suppose to go to Dr on 5/4/16 to get cleared for full duty. However on 4/29/16 I work up in pain worse than when I broke it. Is there anyway I could have reinjuried it while sleeping. Thanks XXXXXXX

It is possible and you should definitely do xrays again. However,it is much more likely to be just injury if soft tissue,tendon or capsule around the joint so you should not be very concerned if I am right. Wish you god health. Regards
