What Causes Severe Pain On Either Side Of The Kneecap After Injury?

Question: ok i did a complete superman on ice about 2 weeks ago bruised 2 ribs on my left side and landed hard on my right knee. The pain went away but is back alot worse then before, i can walk on it but it hurts in the back of my knee and on both sides of my knee cap. i am scared i ripped something or broke something in there. I have iced it and it helps for a bit, heat just makes it worse. Going up and down stairs is not good it hurts to bend it. Please tell me what to do next.
Brief Answer:
Get MRI scan of knee done.
Detailed Answer:
Hi,
It seems some ligaments are teared in your knee hoint, so get MRI scan of knee joint and send me the report.
Till then have tab.aceclofenac100mg+serratiopeptidase15mg thrice a day.
Avoid upstairs and squatting exercise, instead do flexion and extension exercise of knee.
Avoid running also.
I hope it helps.
Thanks,

great diagnosis i went to an ortho and i torn the ligaments around my knee joint. so i am on bed rest for this weekend , lots of ice and limited stairs for 2 weeks. After 2 weeks i can come off crutches and use a cane for stability if need but nothing major. i am very luck she said. but i have to be very careful when taking pups outside, 1 fall and i am going under. Again thank you . As far as pain meds she suggested tylonal every 4 hours and a ibpro. every 6 hours for pain.
