Brief Answer:
Pulled hamstring or sciatica

Detailed Answer:
Hello sir and welcome.

Thank you for writing to us.

I have gone through your query with diligence and would like you to know that I am here to help. In my opinion there could be two possible causes for your pain, they are:

+Hamstring injury that radiates towards the lower back causing pain and discomfort: Treatment includes rest, avoiding weight bearing, elevation of the leg, ice application and elastic bandage (to be worn throughout the day, removed at night, and mild non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs (e.g. ibuprofen, diclofenac, etc.)

+Sciatica: More discomfort than pain, ranging from the back of the mid-thigh or knee until the lower back. Treatment includes rest, weight loss if you have put on weight, reduce amount of physical exertion and/or exercise, use non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs (E.g. ibuprofen, etc.) and muscle relaxants.

I hope you find my response both helpful and informative. Please feel free to write back to me for any further clarifications, I would be more than happy to help you.

Best wishes.
