Question: What is causing an intermittant pulsing pain on the left side of my left breast under my armpit?

I understand your concern. This is not a common symptom and therefore a proper medical examination is needed. It could be an abscess which has to be drained or swollen lymph nodes. Swollen lymph nodes always need advanced examination especially in this area, so don't ignore my advice and try to visit a doctor as soon as you can to discover the right origin of your pain.

Until than you can take ibuprofen 600 mg per day if the pain is to strong.
