What Causes Severe Testicular Pain, Abdominal Pain, Nausea And Vomiting?
Question: I am a 24 year old male with severe testicular pain accompanied by abdominal pain and nausea with vomiting. There is slight swelling and testicular appears slightly horizontal. I have a history or torsion when I was 12 and had a scare with severe testicular pain 2 months ago.
Brief Answer:
Recurrent torsion testis is most probable.
Detailed Answer:
Hello XXXX and welcome to HCM.
As an Urologist, i can fully understand your concern.
My advise is , report urgently, to an Urologist.
Most likely, this is recurrent, acute torsion testis.
It will be confirmed after an ultrasound scan with doppler of the scrotum.
If confirmed, surgery will be done, to save the testis.
If you delay the visit to the doctor, the testis may have to be removed.
Also, don't drink or take anything by mouth, till doctor's visit.
Hope your doubt is cleared and wish you well.
