What Causes Sharp Pain Near Navel, Extreme Fatigue And Swollen Abdomen?
Question: Hi, for the past couple of days I have had sharp pains in my abdomen near my naval. Yesterday night the pain moved to my lower right side. My symptoms have been extreme fatigue, swollen abdomen, pain grows when moving, hurts to touch, and constipation for a few days.

- Appendicitis as the most common cause
- Twisted Ovarian cyst
- Typhlitis - colitis
Your history is most suggestive of appendicitis...
I would advise to get the following tests done ASAP:
Blood for Raised WBC counts and other routine works
Urine and stool
High resolution Ultrasonography- can detect appendicitis and many other conditions.
Surgeon's opinion - Clinical examination helps in proper diagnosis.
These tests will help to get a proper diagnosis and give a proper plan of further management.
