Thanks for the query.
The symptoms you have, without any out word signs aught to be disturbing. I appreciate your concern& your eagerness to know the cause, in spite of natural tendency to neglect, till something visible happens.
As you don't seem to have similar complaint else where in body, I feel you may be having singular
nerve dysfunction-involving Femoral nerve, the nerve giving sensory supply to inner thigh & front of the leg(other side of calf). This gives you a bruised sensation, burning /
shock like feeling in inner thigh.
The cause may be-
- Pressure/compression on nerve/ pinched nerve( wrong body posture,
tumor).
-Systemic disease like
diabetes which leads to neuropathy.
Long standing sensory loss may lead the condition to progress, resulting in numbness/lack of sensations/ unnoticed injuries, making life miserable.
To treat this, I would advice you to go ahead & get yourself examined /investigated and treated in time. You should visit your your physician soon for-
- Detailed physical examination. This will be followed by -
- Investigations as per need, done to judge functioning of nerve & muscles-like,
- Nerve conduction test,
-
Electromyography,
-
MRI for detecting mass/tumor/ boney
deformity if any.
In short, I hope, you have gathered that-the nature has signaled you about nerve problem by minor complaints, now it's up to you to pick up the opportunity & prevent further damage.
Hope, this satisfies you. Any further query is welcome.
Thanks.
