Hi XXXXXXX
Thanks for being on healthcaremagic.com.
I am Dr.Ajay Panwar,a neurologist,here to answer your query.
No,masturbation is not known to cause such symptoms. But rarely, orgasm has been reported to cause reflex seizures. That may be a rare possibility.
However,to comment or answer it well,I need to know that-
1)Since how many years or months, you are having seizures?
2)What is the frequency of your seizures?
3)What happens to you in a typical seizure? What type of a seizure you have typically?
4)Does masturbation always brings out such episode in you?
5)What medicines are you taking for seizures?
Please follow up with details so that I can answer your query better.
Waiting for your follow-up.

From 2008.
2)What is the frequency of your seizures?
I got it twice.Once I had it in 2010 and started using the Eption, and later I stopped using it after one year on doctor recommendation.
Later I got it again in 2012 and started using Tegrital.
From last few months(5) i am using the Zeptol and Lobazam.
3)What happens to you in a typical seizure? What type of a seizure you have typically?
I shouts and with shivering hands and goes into unconscious state.I had tung bite also.
4)Does masturbation always brings out such episode in you?
No
5)What medicines are you taking for seizures?
Zeptol and Lobazam.
But yesterday I felt lot of tension while doing it,and also my hand started paining little bit.
Each time when doctor did all the scanning(CT) and told everything is all right.
But I do not know the reason for such situation yesterday. Is it only because of pressure or tension or anything else?
Thanks
Keep observing.Continue antiepileptic medicines in the same dose.
Detailed Answer:
Hi XXXXXXX
Thanks for being in follow-up.
I appreciate the way,you have provided the details.
This present event may be just physiological or anxiety related. If it is anyhow related to epileptic activity,it was not a XXXXXXX seizure. So,I suggest you to continue seizure medicines in the same dose at present and keep observing,if similar event occurs again.
In case if it recurs,it will have to be evaluated further. You may have to undergo an EEG(Electroencephalogram)within the shortest time possible, after the event. Antiepileptics dose may also be increased,in that case.
Hope that I have answered your query. If you have some follow up questions,I shall be glad to answer else please close the thread, rate it and write a review as your rating will be of help to me.
