Detailed Answer:
Hello,
Good day.
There are many possibilities for the pain such as,
1) Arising from breast itself: You may need a mmamogram or ultrasound to look at your breasts.
2) The other possibility is that your rib is broken from violent cough. This is diffcult to see in routine Xrays. You may need special xray looking for rib tractures.
3) Neuropathy pain: this could be from truncal monoeuropathy. This is a type of diabetic neurpathy affecting only a particular area of body.
Since you have have intolerence to Lyrica and gabapentin, it is better to find out the exact reason of pain rather than symptomatically manage the pain.
Your doctor need to carefully examine and suggest further evaluation.Your blood sugars are too high and you will rquire multiple daily insulin treatment. This may help in reduction of pain as well.

Hi,
Lowering the blood sugar can improve neuropathy pain, but it may take time.
However, it is important to rule out other kind of pain as well. Does the pain get any worse on deep breathing or coughing? Is it like a shooting pain or stabbing kind of pain?
Muscle pain and rib fracture pain are two other causes of pain. This would have happened when you coughed a lot .
HAve you had a chest Xray?

Hi
Detailed Answer:
Even though you say that the pimply blisters appeared after using gabapentin, I am a little suspicious of a Herpes like lesion. A photograph would have been helpful. Herpes usually affects a single nerve territory with pain..
In nutshell, there are lot of causes of pain in that area starting from a neuropathy pain, herpes neuralgia, muscle pain, rib pain, pleuritic pain etc. We may need to examine you and listen to your chest . You may require an Xray as well
