What Causes Single Reddish Raised Area On The Skin?

Welcome and thanks for posting your query to the forum.
I can understand your concern for the eruption over the lip area.
After diligently analyzing your complete query and the pictures let me reassure you first that the eruption is related to simple pimple only. I has got no relationship with herpes.
On close examination of the area you can see that there is single red raised area and is centrally raised. This is basically a feature of pimple turning into small cyst. In herpes we find multiple small vesicles or superficial ulcers.
Presently the arwa is inflamed so I recommend you to kindly avoid repeated touching. In my patients I suggest them to apply an antibacterial cream such as Mupirocin or fucidin. A pain killer tablet such as paracetamol or ibuprofen can reduce the inflammation and swelling.
It will take next couple of days to get reduced.
