What Causes Sinus Problem, dizziness And Nausea After Getting A Dental Implant?
Question: I had a dental implant in my upper right jaw a week ago. Since the implant I have had sinus problems, some dizziness and nausea. I saw my oral surgeon yesterday and he insists that nothing is wrong but I still feel strange. The right side of my head feels weird. He told me he had done a sinus "lift". He gave me another course of antibiotics but I felt that was to humor me. Should I be having these symptoms so long after the procedure?
Brief Answer:
Get an opg done to rule out.
Detailed Answer:
Hi
Thanks for writing in.
Firstly complete with your course of antibiotic as prescribed.Still if problem persists get an OPG done.
Also consult ENT specialist in such case.
Generally if implant placement is not proper it may cause secondary infection & may cause such problems.
You don't worry & follow the guidelines.
Hope I answered your query
Wishing you good health
