What Causes Sleep Walking While On Ambien?
Question: I was given Ambien for the first time for insomnia and ended up sleep walking on it. I must have fallen as I woke up with a large bruise on my right abdomen, parellel to my belly button and small bruises on the right side of my body elsewhere. This was 11 days ago. The bruise was almost gone by day 9 but I also felt a hard lump in the center of where the bruise was. It's not a very large lump but a noticeable lump nonetheless. You cannot see it but when you press in the area you can feel it. The pain is minimal. I'm very worried due to the location of the bruise that it's internal bleeding, or an abscess. What would a lump under a healing bruise be and am I in danger?

The lump/mass that you are feeling is likely due to fibroid/scar tissue that can form as a result of trauma.
These do not occur with every case of trauma but are more likely to occur with severe or significant injury as in your case (stated that the bruise was large).
It can take weeks (in some cases months) for fibroid/scar tissue to resolve and in some cases , it is not complete
Internal bleeding would be accompanied by a decrease in blood count which would cause symptoms of anemia and would also cause the bruise to extend/increase in size.
Fatigue, pain at the site, weakness, dizziness would be expected if bleeding was occurring internally.
An abscess is a collection of pus. This infection would be accompanied by symptoms in the particular area and may also be associated with systemic symptoms if the infection spreads.
There would fever, increasing pain and tenderness, increasing warmth over the area, increasing redness- these are indicators of infection.
Fatigue and general unwell feeling (malaise) would also be present at the same time in some persons

It is possible that there is a collection of blood particularly if the area appears discolored compared to the other aspects of the skin.
Hematomas can become scar tissue as well as the healing progresses

It actually is right in the center of where the bruise was but there is no discoloration now

Even though there is no pain, if you like, you use an anti inflammatory medication such as naproxen, cataflam or ibuprofen to hopefully reduce the body's inflammatory reaction to the trauma.
It may help the lump to resolve quicker though this not the case for everyone

The lump was under where the bruise was deep red and purple, but the discoloration has finally left but the lump is still there. I can't get in to see my primary care until May 11, will I be ok? Sorry, very anxious
