Brief Answer:
Small abcess

Detailed Answer:
Thank you for contacting HCM with your health care concerns

You are currently suffering from a sore throat and a lesion on the soft palate of your mouth. This appears to be a small abscess. This a little pocket of infection. With you being on antibiotics this should help but if you have already completed your course of antibiotics I would recommend seeing your provider again for possibly a different antibiotic. Penicillin is not the best antibiotic for abscess. These areas of infection are common and not anything to be worried about. I just recommend that you proceed with another round of antibiotics to clear this infection.
