What Causes Small Itchy Bumps On The Right Lateral Side Of Abdomen?

This is probably shingles!
Detailed Answer:
Hi and thank you so much for this query.
I am so sorry to hear about this rash that you have reported. I have reviewed the images fully and this is very suggestive of a possible shingle attack. It is late to prescribed acyclovir as thesis best before the rash breaks out. Best treatment at this time is managing the pain and making sure that the rash is cleansed and doesn’t get infected. Pain medications such as a combination of Tylenol and Ibuprofen are helpful If pain persists, then ask your doctor for more potent prescription pain medications.
Shingles break out in persons with a weakened immune system. at your age, this is not typical and I will like that you see the doctors so that they can as well investigate what the possible reasons for this outbreak are. If it is n underlying disease condition, that would be addressed as well in addition to pain medications and “wound” care for the rash.
I hope this helps. I wish you well. Feel free to ask for more information and clarifications if need be. Above all, thanks for using our services.

Most likely immune depression!

Hi,
Possible causes are poor nutrition, medications such as steroids, treatment for cancers, diabetes, infections such as HIV/AIDS, chronic alcoholism, etc. In some instances there are no identifiable causes and that is well understood. Seeing a doctor doesn’t necessarily means you would have one of these conditions but making sure that if there is any, you are diagnosed and managed accordingly.
I wish you well.

I did go to see a doctor in an urgent care center about my skin condition. He looked at it and said yes it is shingles. He gave me valacyclovir to take for it. And said I could use calamine lotion on it. He said it should go away after 2 weeks or so and that the skin might feel slight pain weeks or months down the road.
It has been over 24 hours since seeing the doctor and the calaline lotion is helping the previous blisters start to form and look like the may begin to heal soon, but it looks like a couple more bumps developed. These bumps may have been slow forming and I might nighthave noticed them before they grew larger. I hope it doesn't spread. Any thought sor advice on this?
It’s not unexpected!

Hi,
The rash never all comes up at once. Some comes later and that’s what your have reported. Glad you are on medications already. Monitor the progress of treatment as that is the most essential thing to do. Am glad your doctor told you some real facts especially about the possibility of pain post healing for weeks and even months.
Keep me posted on your progress.
