What Causes Small Lumps On The Left Side Tip Of The Tongue?
Question: I have some small pea sized lumps on the left side tip of the tongue. They aren't sore but I can feel them with my teeth. I've had them for about 2/3 months. I was diagnosed with Lichus planus in the mouth about 2 years ago which is manageable and hasn't got any worse.
Brief Answer:
fibroma, consult oral physician, surgical removal
Detailed Answer:
thanks for your query, the small lumps on the left side of the tongue could be a fibroma caused secondary to trauma or an irritaional fibroma. consult your oral physician to confirm the diagnosis and get the cause treated like rounding off the sharp cuspal edges of the teeth causing trauma and you can get the lump surgically removed....keep an eye on the lichen planus and if you develop any red areas in the affected area consult you oral physician. i hope my answer will help you, take care.
