What Causes Small White Circles On Body Post Strep Throat Treatment?

Question: My daughter suddenly got a rash yesterday with small white circles that look like a mosquito bite but not raised or itchy, surrounded by bright red rash shaped like a whale. It looked better last night, smaller and less red. This morning the red came back a little, but not as large as yesterday. Doesn't itch or burn. She said if she squeezes it it feels almost like sunburn. Can't find any rash like this on internet. She had Strep throat 2 weeks ago.

I read carefully your query and understand your concern.

It seems to be an insect bite.It is not an infection and not related to strep throat.
Considering the fact that it doesn't hurt or itch ,it may not need any treatment.
You just need to observe it and avoid scratching the skin because it may cause an infection.
If it get worse,painful to touch ,swelled and red ,you may need to see your doctor because it got infected and a topical or oral antibiotic may be necessary.
Otherwise it doesn't seem of concern and you don't need to worry.
