What Causes Soft Swelling In Left Collar Bone Along With Pain In Left Arm?

Question: I have soft swelling in left collarbone ,with pain in left arm, tingling in left hand with numbness and upper left chest pain above left breast. Have had heart checked out , they say it is ok. I have copd and have had a fusion of c- spine . I also have pain in legs with the left leg being worse than the right. I have had one dr. say I have Lupus the other not sure. This has been going on for sometime and seems to be getting worse. This is very troubling as I can not seem to get a reason for it. I am afraid they are missing something.

You need to go for biopsy and histopathologic testing of the swelling tissue. If this is fluctuant, they make go for FNAC in which a needle is passed and some tissue from the swelling is sucked in the syringe to get checked histologically.

In this way we will know the origin and nature of the swelling.

It may come out to be benign or malignant based on histopathologic reporting.

Your treating physician will help refer you for the testing.
