Unfortunately, the picture is not of good quality and would be difficult making a precise recommendation. However, it looks like a sore. Sores have multiple causes and viruses, bacteria, trauma, etc. may be responsible. If this is the first time you have notice it, I will say stay calm. Most of them get resolved spontaneously with no need for medical intervention. Avoid picking on it constantly.

If you have severe pains, Tylenol would be a good drug to take.
