What Causes Sore Throat And Stomach Pain Post Unprotected Sex?
Question: I had unprotected sex with a woman less than two weeks ago, I had a sore throat with a lot of white pus on my tonsils a few days after that lasted for about 4-5 days along with some swelling in my lymph nodes under my jaw. That's gone away. Now I'm having stomach pains and I feel like my groin is swelled a little along with my underarms but I can't physically feel any swollen nodes. I also have 2 red spots in the roof of my mouth and a small sore on my inner lip. Are these signs of hiv infection already? I am stressed out so bad from looking online and seeing that all these symptoms are related to hiv. Please help. Also this was a one time thing with this girl if that helps
Brief Answer:
Only with blood results one can either confirm or rule out HIV.

Hi,
Welcome to HCM
Thanks for posting your query.
Sore throat and stomach pain are common problems and can occur to anybody.
With an intimate contact during sex, a throat infection can occur either by an air born infection or through intimate kissing. Stomach pain might be possible due to drugs taken during the throat infection.
Earliest manifestation of HIV can occur only after 3-4 weeks after a high risk contact, in the presence of an infection.
Only the appropriate blood test for HIV, one can be able to predict the HIV infection.
So have the blood test for HIV/STD and wait till the results come.

Okay I didn't take any drugs for the sore throat. What really had me worried are the spots on the roof of my mouth and my abdominal pain along with feeling some dullness I'm my lymph nodes like they may be swollen. Is this still to early to tell? I had an oraquick rapid test done at 10 days but it was negative. Of course because it's still too soon to test
Brief Answer:
Oraquick conclusive by 12 weeks. symptoms are not specific to HIV.
Detailed Answer:
HI,
Welcome back.
Red spots over the palate area, stomach pain with dullness and lymph node enlargement still can occur to anybody in the absence of HIV. Once again I affirm the early HIV manifestations would take 3-4 weeks to appear following an risky contact if there is an infection.
Oraquick will be conclusive by 12 weeks. PCR Test, or P24 antigen test would be reliable to confirm or rule out HIV 1 infection by 3-4 weeks.
