What Causes Sore Throat, Ear Ache And Yellowish Red Spots In Mouth?
Question: I have a slight sore throat and get ear pain sometimes when I swallow. Today I also looked at the roof or my mouth and it is yellowish with a couple red dots
this is likely to be due to an infection and you will need antibiotics for it, please meet your doctor. Thanks

Detailed Answer:
Hello
Very sorry for the delayed reply, i hope your symptoms have not progressed
It seems like you are either having a severe strep infection or a condition called as scarlet fever. I have not examined you so it is difficult to conclude.
Ether way both are bacterial infections and will subside by an antibiotic , usually amoxicillin.
You can take paracetamol 500mg for the pain and fever if it occurs.
The ear pain is likely to be referred pain from the throat and will subside once the infection is cured.
Please start gargling with warm salt water 2-3 times a day and avoid hot and spicy food.
Please meet your doctor for the prescription.
Dont worry, you will be fine!
Take care
