Question: I had the shot, Pertussis a week ago, with no reaction, now tonight it is red, and swollen, and some red spots around it, a little sore. Am I to be concerned?

Pertussis vaccine is given intra muscularly and it could sometimes get a little sore and red 3-5 days after the shot.
