What Causes Spinning Sensation And Nausea?

can be ear related
Detailed Answer:
Hi and welcome to healthcaremagic,
Spinning sensation or vertigo can be caused by diseases of the inner ear or diseases of the central nervous system.
Diseases of the inner ear are very common causes of vertigo. BPPV, meniere's disease, labyrinthitis are common ear causes of vertigo of which BPPV ( benign paroxysmal positional vertigo) is the commonest cause of vertigo. Along with vertigo inner ear diseases can be associated with tinnitus and hearing loss.
Although diseases of the inner ear can occur at any age, central causes predominate in the elderly. Bleeding or ischaemic injury to the cerebellum and its connections can produce vertigo.
Nausea is typically seen in ear associated vertigo,
Since you had nausea with vertigo, you most probably have inner ear related vertigo.
Please meet your ENT, he/she will be able to come to a conclusion after examination.
