What Causes Stabbing Pain On Left Side Of Armpit With Normal Stress Chest?

Question: Have stabbing pain on left side 3" below clavicle adjacent to center of armpit about where the sublavian artery would run. Doctor did EKG 1of 4 beats were early, holter monitor - nothing, thyroid normal, other lab work normal except cholesterol high 254, stress test normal, pulmonary test - mild obstruction 493.9 asthma. Rx for anxiety alprazolam. Think more clearly but still have the pain.

Premature beat could be possible due to anxiety. In that case, there is nothing to worry. If all investigations are normal, then chances of anxiety induced chest pain is more. Psychological pain depends upon the thoughts. More you would think about such pain, more you would feel. Just relax and take anxiolytic like alprazolam on sos basis. You can also do some relaxation exercise that would keep you calm.
