What Causes Stiffness In Back, Feet, Ankles, Fluid And Pain In Knees?

Question: Stiffness of the back, feet, and ankles in the morning. Stiff leg muscles. Fluid on the knees and inflamed muscle above knees with some occassional pain. Inflamed around the lateral epicondyle area, with some actual pain. Some twitches of pain in wrist and left arm. And foggy mind at times with bad memory.

I read your question and i understand your concern. Stiff back, feet and ankles in morning with sore muscles and joint pains with negative rheumatoid arthritis and positive ANA test should be digged up further as positive ANA suggests its autoimmune probably Lupus and need further workup with further confirmatory tests like anti double stranded , anti XXXXXXX antibodies. A complete autoimmune profile is advised. All your symptoms fit in this rheumatological conditions and should be evaluated and clinically correlated after thorough blood work up. At age of 50 age related articular degeneration like osteoarthritis should also be on the table while reaching a diagnosis.

GERD involves GI tract and an autoimmune disorder may involve it. So yes it may be connected. Lump at the bottom of the neck should be evaluated as it could be a lymph node or a thyroid swelling and yes that can be connected if autoimmune profile confirmed. Urinary incontinence may be separate entity or secondary to some local process either infective like UTi or neurological > Only complete clinical correlation will tell.

Not sure if these are related with other systoms, but I have Gerds, a bludge on the bottom part of my neck where it meets the spine, and have been experiencing ome urinary incontinence

Lump is at the bottom back part of the neck. Lab results show negative for UTi.

Lump at bottom back of the neck is likely a soft tissue and not connected. Usually a swollen lymph node or a lipoma or any other benign lesion can present as that lump. Needs work up to connect all the dots.
