What Causes Stinging Pain At Tip Of Penis?

Question: Hi, over the last week I've experienced stinging pain at the tip of my penis. Coincidentally, it was the morning after I had sex with my wife. In addition, I had drank a lot of alcohol that night. Since that next morning, the sensation has felt as if a) the tip of my penis is stinging, and now more recently over the last couple days b) a sort of pressure at the tip of my penis as if there is some blockage or leftover urine. I masturbated in the hopes that I would discharge anything in there. It did not hurt to climax. While urinating it does seem to feel a little uncomfortable, but it could just be my anxiety. In addition, I feel like I have to urinate quite a bit and never feel like I've gotten everything out. In fact, there does seem to be some leakage after the fact. I am on no medication whatsoever (other than taking mortin this week). Also, I have noticed that I pee a lot slower (starting and finishing) but that is not new. That has been happening for well over 5 months. As of this morning, moving my bowels now seems even more difficult, but again, could be due to anxiety.

> Tip of the penis is very sensitive part. There are numerous nerve ending. If you perform vigorous sex then some times they might get damage resulting in pain, stinging sensation. Nerve endings regenerate itself in a while so for that you need not to worry. Try to use some lubricant during sex to reduce trauma. You will see improvement yourself in few days. Pain could also be because of urinary tract infection(UTI). It can be confirmed by undergoing urine complete examination at a hospital.

> Difficulty in starting or finishing urine could be due to problem of prostate gland(if its enlarged). For that i would suggest you to visit hospital and get an ultrasound done. You can discuss the report with a urologist.

> Altered bowel habits:
Stress is a very important factor in causing altered bowel habits. I would suggest you to relax. You are absolutely fine. If i were your treating doctor then i would have advised following things for constipation:
> Take high fiber diet
> fresh fruits
> Green leafy vegetables
> Plenty of water
> Defecate whenever there is urge.

Thanks Doctor, that makes me feel a lot better. Would you suggest I give it until say this coming Monday, and if I do not feel 100%, then to go to the doctor's office? Or, do I give it a little more time than that?
