What Causes Stinging Sensation On The Side Of The Head?
More likely to be migraine.
Detailed Answer:
Hi,
Thank you for posting your query.
I am Dr Sudhir Kumar, Neurologist, and would try my best to help you.
I have noted the clinical details of the patient. Based on that, it is more likely to be a migraine attack. In aneurysmal bleed causing subarachnoid hemorrhage (SAH), there is severe headache (often described as the worst pain ever). Also, in SAH, headache is more often in occipital (back of head) region and neck (although exceptions may occur).
As of now, you can continue analgescis such as Ibuprofen. If headache persists, a CT scan of head may be done.
I sincerely hope my reply has helped you.
I would be pleased to answer, if you have any follow up queries or if you require any further information.
Best wishes,
Dr Sudhir Kumar MD (Internal Medicine), DM (Neurology) XXXXXXX Consultant Neurologist
