What Causes Stomach Gas,mucous In Stools And Indigestion?
Greetings,
Detailed Answer:
Thanks for writing in HCM. I had gone through your query and understand your concern. The normal range of bilurubin is 0.3 -1.9 .so in this case you need to be worried (2.0 to 3.0)but not too much.as your SGPT levels are normal your liver is in normal condition.
I would like to know further information regarding your complaints 1.) any complaints of abdominal pain/radiating pain,if present where its radiating 2.)colour of your stool 3.)itching+/- 4.)jaundice +/- 5.) any history of sudden weight loss 6.) history of alcohol intake 7.) any complaints of nausea and vomitting. For my patients with this complaints and with elevated bilurubin values , I would suggest ultrasound abdomen&pelvis.you mentioned complaints like bloating sensation is because of dyspeptic syndrome.
The first possibility is obstruction in gallbladder mostly due to gall stones diagnosis can be confirmed by ultrasound mentioned above.
The second possibility is pancreatitis for this diagnosis can be confirmed by serum amylase and lipase and ultrasound abdomen&pelvis .my suggestion is to stop norfloxacin and diet rich in fats/proteins and to avoid meat etc .to continue with liver tonic and easily digestable foods like green vegetables .Finally no need to get worried as both conditions are easily curable by conservative or surgical means depending upon your ultrasound report .
I would be glad to provide answers to any further queries.
Thanks for using HMC Have a good day!
