What Causes Stomach Pain And Bloating Post Alcohol Consumption?

Gastritis with Ulcer.
Detailed Answer:
Welcome To HCM. I am Dr Anshul Varshney.
I understand your concern.
After consumption of Alcohol if you vomit and throw out blood, it's mainly because of any of the following two reasons:
1. Acute Gastritis aggravated by alcohol and a peptic ulcer bleed.
2. XXXXXXX Weis Tear - that is a tear of esophagus due to jerky , forceful vomiting episodes.
Now important here is that if you get repeated episodes you would require an Upper GI Endoscopy.
If this is limited to a single episode only then you can take a combination of Pantoprazole and Domperidone once a day for 7 days.
Stop alcohol completely.
Consume plenty of water.
Take soft, bland diet for 7 days.
Write to me again after 7 days then we will discuss further treatment plan.
If you have any further query please ask me.

Detailed Answer:
Dear Friend.
You just had a blood in poop once that's why I didn't ask you to go for Endoscopy right now!!
And only 1 glass of beer is enough to cause severe Gastritis.
Simply start on Pantoprazole and Domperidone for 7days so that any Gastritis or ulcer would start settling down. Further course of action would be based on your recovery so we will decide it after 7 days.
