What Causes Stomach Upset, Eye Irritation And Headache?

Question: I am a 65 year old female, working full time. very physically active. I have had an upset stomach for the past week. Minor eye irritation, infrequent fever, infrequent headache; some loose stools, do seem to have normal bowel movements two / three times per day. Eating "soft" food doesn't seem to help.

Dear Friend.
Welcome to HCM. I am Dr Anshul Varshney. I understand your concern.
It seems you have developed Acute Gastritis.
Only soft diet doesn't help much in this.
I advise in such scenario to take a combination of Pantoprazole and Domperidone once a day for 5 days. This helps a lot.
If loose stools are associated with lower abdominal pain then it is a sign of Infection. In such scenario antibiotic combination of Ofloxacin and Ornidazole helps.
But I would suggest you initially to take combination of Pantoprazole and Domperidone once a day.
