What Causes Sudden Bleeding From The Ear?

Rule out bleeding from Coumadin
Detailed Answer:
Hi Dear ! Thank you for using HCM. I've read your question and understand your concern.
The first thing that comes in my mind in your case, while you are taking Coumadin (Warfarin), is a possible side effect of this drug .
I would suggest to go in the hospital and to do a blood test (INR) that shows the effect of Warfarin in thinning of blood . Sometimes Coumadin increases the INR levels ( damage the normal coagulation parameters of our blood ) resulting in bleeding that if you don't control immediately, can be quite severe .
So it's important to rule this out immediately.
After you rule out possible Coumadin side effect, I would think of ear infection or trauma of your earcanal/eardrum.
Hope I have answered your question.
If you have any further clarifications I will be happy to help.
Take Care !
