The presence of meningioma in the cerebello-pontine angle could be the cause of your sudden hearing loss. The meningioma could be compressing the cochlear nerve thus causing the hearing loss. You need to get further audiological investigations to confirm the sensori-neural hearing loss.
Secondly, not all ENT specialists will be competent enough to diagnose this problem. My sincere suggestion to you is to consult a good Neurosurgeon or a Neuro-otologist for a complete evaluation and management.
Also, you will require a course of oral steroids and a peripheral vasodilators to reduce any pressure or swelling around the cochlear nerve.
