What Causes Sudden Hearing Loss?
Question: I have hearing loss in my left ear. Can I clean out the wax myself?
Brief Answer:
No, you should not..
Detailed Answer:
Hello XXXX, welcome to HCM,
I've gone through your query and understand your concern,
No, you should not clean the wax by yourself as there's already pre-existing hearing loss, and this self-attempt can further dislodge the wax deeper in to the ear canal causing further complications..
Please don't put anything in side the ear canal, just visit any ENT specialist so that it can be taken out under direct vision by them only..
If you can't get hold of any ENT immediately, then simply visit your nearest ER/Urgent care where they'll take it out under vision and possibly refer and allot an ENT for you..
Take Care
Kind Regards
