What Causes Sudden Memory Loss And Bladder Infection?
There is no direct link between the two.
Detailed Answer:
Hi,
Thank you for posting your query.
I have noted the details. It is unlikely that the transient memory loss was caused due to bladder infection.
The symptoms are suggestive of transient global amnesia (TGA), a type of minor brain stroke, also called as TIA (transient ischemic attack, where the symptoms recover in less than 24 hours).
Evaluation should include MRI and MR angiogram of brain, lipid and homocysteine levels.
You should be on aspirin tablets until the evaluation is complete.
I hope my reply has helped you.
I would be pleased to answer, if you have any follow up queries or if you require any further information.
Best wishes,
