Hi XXXX,
Thanks for being on healthcaremagic.com.
I am Dr.Ajay Panwar,a neurologist,here to answer your query.

I understand your concerns and I shall try to address them at best but I need to know about your detailed symptoms for it.

Sudden onset peripheral neuropathy is not usual. Moreover, peripheral neuropathy is a specific diagnosis which is established after nerve conduction studies. So,from your part,I would like you to please tell your symptoms in detail(what all you felt like? What complaints you had?).That will create a better base for me to approach to your clinical picture.

I shall be glad to have you in follow-up with details.

DR. Panwar, Symptoms are specific to big toes both feet. certainly tolerable but concerning to me because of duration. More or less constant low grade tingling with occasional sharp stabbing sensation although these are very infrequent. Big toes only. Fingers unaffected.

Detailed Answer:
Hi XXXX,
Thanks for being in follow-up and providing further details.

Of course,it may be the onset of peripheral neuropathy. However, before investigating the causes,I would suggest you to undergo a neurological examination and nerve conduction studies, so as to look for the evidence of neuropathy.Once confirmed, detailed evaluation of causes need to be done.Meanwhile, please start taking multivitamins and antioxidants supplementation. It may help improve the symptoms.

Hope that I have answered your query. If you have some further questions,I shall be glad to answer else please close the thread, rate it and write a review.
