What Causes Sudden Weight Gain With Bloody Stool And Dizziness?

I am having stomach issues again but afraid to go back to family dr. with no answers. My symptoms started a year ago when i turned 28. I am a female that is 5'7 in height and in XXXXXXX 2013 weighed 167. In a matter of 3 months I started gaining weight 54lbs to be exact. This is extrememly unusual for me. My birthweight (labor wieght) was 173lbs. I started getting bloody stools, extreme dizziness, bloody stools, blurred vision in my left eye (i have always had 20/20 in both eyes), I have this dull pain in my left side of my stomach it will not go away and it gradually gets worse on some days but I can't pin point what is making it hurt so bad. I get dizzy, nauseated, etc. I went to the dr. he took blood work and diagnosed me with hypothyriodism. I have been on levothyroxin for a year he has put me on 50mg then switched it to 100mg. I changed my diet to gluten free, dairy free diet, exercising everyday (2-3miles a day jog/walk) for the past 6months. I have not lost any weight, my vision is getting worse, my stomach pains are back full force and the meds make me feel crazy like an emotional roller coaster. I don't know who to see or where to go but I refuse to live like this. Please any suggestions will help! Thank you for your time.

Detailed Answer:
I am sorry to hear about your condition.
It is very important to ensure that your thyroid is treated with correct doses. The best way to find out is to look at lab test results for TSH and free T4.
The target TSH is 0.4 to 2.5 and free T4 ought to be on the higher side of normal.
I am sure your primary care provider must have already run labs for
CBC
CMP
to make sure your liver, kidney, electrolytes and glucose are fine.
Clearly it is important to rule out other gut problems like gallstones or ulcers or pancreatitis.
Your best bet is to see a gastroenterologist in person for a thorough evaluation and further studies like more labs and an ultrasound / CT scan of the abdomen. If necessary endoscopy studies may be deemed necessary by the gastroenterologist
