Hello
Welcome to Health care Magic.
I am Dr. DADAPEER K, an Ophthalmologist and I will be answering your question.
I reviewed your history.
It seems from the history that you are having refractive error and you are wearing spectacles for its correction.
Since you have crossed 21 years and if your refractive power is stable without any further increase you can undergo Lasik for its correction.
Please provide me more details like your refractive error, your present visual acuity, so that I can answer your question more accurately.
Hope this information is helpful to you.
Do write back to me for further questions.
Thank you

Hey thank you for the advise. I have a few queries. Before that i will tell about my details. My refractive number is stable and it is 3.75 left eye and 4.75 right eye. And the number is stable. What my major concern is my appearance its ilk i have small sunken beady eyes . They don't look good. I dot mind wearing glasses also as long as there is another solution to make them look bigger. And the reason why am saying this is because i am a colorists in films. With lasik correction i don't want any kind of difference in my vision in terms of color and brightness cuz my career is based on it. But if u feel it won't be a problem and i will have perfect vision plus my eyes they will become bigger then i am game for it . So please advise me. My main problem is small eyes
Brief Answer:
Lasik will not correct the problem of small and sunken eyes.
Detailed Answer:
Hello
Thank you for the follow up question.
I reviewed your history.
Lasik surgery will correct the problem of refractive error and this will not cause any problem with regard to color or brightness in your vision. Since the refractive error is stable also you can undergo lasik surgery.
But lasik surgery will not correct your major problem of small and sunken eyes. If you want to enhance the cosmetic appearance of your eyes you need to go for cosmetic blepharoplasty.
Hence I advice you to consult your ophthalmologist for examination and assessment regarding further treatment required.
Hope this information is helpful to you.
