What Causes Swelling In Ear Lobe?
Please, get consulted for this!
Detailed Answer:
Hi and thank you so much for this query.
I am so sorry to hear about these symptoms that you have reported. I have taken a look at the image attached as well. From all the information, this is suggestive of an ongoing soft tissue infection like cellulitis or erysipela. If not managed early and appropriately, it can become a lot worse. You would need antibiotics to be able to appropriately address this condition. Antibiotic ointment would not be sufficient in this case. For this prescription, please talk to your treating physician.
In all, this is a soft tissue infection. Antibiotics to be taken by mouth are needed for appropriate treatment. Talk to your doctor for examination, confirmation and prescriptions. Please, avoid drugs like aspirin, Ibuprofen, indometacin, etc. as they would cause the infection to get worse!
I hope this helps. I wish you well. Thank you so much for using our services and do feel free to ask for ore information and clarifications if need be.
