What Causes Swelling In Leg, Urinary Incontinence And Back Pain?
Question: 70 year old brother has a edematous left leg, has complained of pain in kidneys/back and is unable to control urine stream, now in diapers, refuses medical help. Also has swelling on both sides of neck with lump in left side. His temp today was 93.3. And BP 117/80. HR 93.

Looking at the signs symptoms that he has he seems to have may be problems like
1)Benign Enlargement of prostate with overflow incontinence
2) malignancy of kidney with secondary in neck .
He needs to consut qualified Urologist for clinical and digital rectal examination and get investigated thoroughly to trace out the cause of his symptoms and to establish diagnosis .
1) Ultrasound Scanning of abdomen and pelvis
2) Urine routine and culture
3) C.T Scan of abdomen
4) Renal Function test.
You need to convince him to get these tests done
