What Causes Swelling In Right Side Nasal Cavity While Recovering From Sinus Infection?

The swelling is hard and bony to touch. It only partially restricts breathing in that nostril (the other is clear, and I usually breathe through the nose). From a Net search I suspect it is a bulla. It is NOT tender or painful, and there is no bleeding.
My question is: if I don't get the NHS appt. before I leave for Canada, should I be concerned?
In my opinion if you dont get appointment in time it wont be a huge concern
Detailed Answer:
Hello,
Thanks for writing to Health Care Magic, I am Dr Muhammd Ahmad, I have closely read your question and I understand your concerns, I will hereby guide you regarding your health related problem.
According to your history and feel of the swelling it can be two three things.
1) Hypertrophied turbinate.
2) Bulla.
3) Nasal polyp which could be calcified.
Coming to your question regarding appointment , if you can get appointment before your departure , well and good other wise ij my opinion you can wait a couple of months more.
Although you can get frequent sinus issues and upper nasal symptoms due to its presence but nasal spray and Alegra D can help.
Then after coming back you can asl for appointment and then can continue with your treatment accordingly.
I hope this answered your question, if you have more feel free to ask, otherwise close the discussion and rate it.
Regards.
Dr.Muhammad Ahmad.
